Welcome to the Book'em Home Page supporting Book'em, the book collector's or book
dealer's database program for Windows and Windows95. Book'em was originally developed for
and runs in our book shop The Old Library Shop. With it we
track our collections and sell from our inventory of over 10,000 books in our store and on
the Internet.
Book'em is a complete solution for the serious collector or book dealer offering the
following features:
- Create an unlimited number of "collections" in which to
organize your books, magazines etc. One book can be put in one or more collections to
organize them by type, interest, size or any way you wish to see them.
- Built-in contact manager and label printer. You can keep track of book
dealers, collectors, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, etc right from within the
Book’em system.
- Powerful query system based on Query-by-example. You can query your
entire database easily in one step to find books matching whatever criteria you specify.
- Optional module to add full point-of-sale system to Book’em. A
must-have for book dealers and book shops! The add-on produces customer receipts as well
as sales summaries and details.
- Built-in reporting engine to produce succinct readable reports on your
collections.
- Custom export routines to post your books to the internet with Bibliofind , Advanced
Book Exchange (ABE) or Alibris services.
